The Mornington Peninsula Shire recently called on the state and federal government to help fund recycled water infrastructure to ensure Class A treated water from Carrum is utilised for local farmers.
This is a project I have been working on for over two years in conjunction with Agricultural Scientist Steve Marshall, along with technical advice and support from both the Mornington Peninsula Shire, South East Water and Melbourne Water.
Over the next few weeks we will release our final proposal which will outline a plan to upgrade Class A water from the South Eastern Outfall and get it to our farmers – the Hinterland Environmental Water Scheme.
If you would like a copy of this paper when it is released then please complete your details below and I will send it through to you.
