I am an active local community member who is engaged with a number of local organisations, particularly in Dromana where I live with my wife, Mary. We have raised two boys; one is still studying at university while the other is a manager with a major accounting firm in the CBD.
My family has lived and farmed on the Peninsula since the late 1950s and I have lived and worked in the area for nearly 40 years, since completing year 12 at the old Mornington High School.
I am a qualified carpenter and registered builder, having successfully managed my own construction business for over 25 years, I understand the needs of small business and will bring real-world commercial experience to the Victorian Parliament.
My vision is to ensure the Mornington Peninsula remains a great place to live and to visit, while at the same time creating a solid foundation to ensure we have ongoing local jobs, leading to meaningful professional careers for our future generations.
We have enormous opportunities here on the Peninsula and I believe that only a Liberal Government can ensure these opportunities are managed carefully and responsibly.
